Been Bizzy...

Sorry it took so long to post again. First the Blogger Man said my site was spam and then I just got busy. I went to William B. Umstead State Park with Erin (co-worker) and Bentley, Gayle (co-worker). Gayle's husband, Bob, and Shadow (punctuation??). We had a lovely walk but somehow I only ended up with one decent picture of Erin and Bentley. However, I have a feeling that is not the last time our little group takes the dogs for a State Park adventure!!

Next in my adventures was participating in Habitat for Humanity with my company, CBRE. The group worked on 2 houses and our projects were mostly finish related. I got to work with Ann-Stewart (notice she is not in any pics as she LOATHES the camera) on making scuttle hole covers/hole in the ceiling that goes to the attic. Now, neither of us has ever worked with dry wall or a circular saw but by the end of the day we felt like old pros....sort of.

These are just a few of my co-workers who participated. First pic is Beth and Ginger; our project pics; Gayle, Beth, Erin, Ginger, and Dana (Stella on her phone); and last but not least drinking beer out of the back of Barry's truck. I LOVE Angela's ensemble....Planet Fitness t-shirt with a 22oz of Miller. We had a great time being away from the phones (except for Stella :) and computers and giving back to the community. Thanks to Ginger for coordinating our day!

Then Mimi came for a visit. Bizzy was very excited to see her. He was mostly good with the exception of one night when he got the zoomies and I got pissed. We went to the flea market in Raleigh which was pretty overwhelming for Mimi but I'm pretty sure we'll be going again. I like that they have produce there so it may become a frequented locale for me. Other than that we had a pretty low key visit that included cleaning my apartment, meeting our dog club friends, and of course, shopping! Below is a Bizzy Boo pic and then Mimi and Biz. Mimi never smiles in her pictures. Bizzy and I have made it our mission to get a snapshot of Mimi with a big toothy smile!!!!

Well, I guess that is it for now. I apologize for the sloppiness and lack of formatting. I just haven't had the time to sit down and play with the layout. I will some day. This weekend Mimi and maybe even Grandpa will be coming. Mimi and I are going to wedding shower in Statesville for my cousin. I'm sure pictures (I must stop using "pics" as it is annoying) will follow. Until next time....
